There are 3 distinctly different 2ND GEN LT1 wire sets, and they are NOT Interchangeable. The wires and the lengths of the wires are different, as they were routed differently in the individual vehicles. You need to choose from the drop down the correct one for your vehicle. The 3 sets are:
1- 1992-1997 Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird: Part # 32149
2- 1992-1996 Chevrolet Corvette: Part # 32173
3- 1994-1996 Chevrolet Impala SS and Caprice: Part # 32159
VMS engineers designed this to be the ULTIMATE set of LT series wires for many reasons:
1- 100% PURE SILICONE insulating jacket material: Jacket is made of TC-1500-HS high strength aerospace silicone rubber. These wires will withstand 600 degrees of heat! WORKS GREAT WITH HEADERS!
2 – LOW RESISTANCE WHILE BEING EMI AND RFI SUPPRESSED: 2.5MM conductor with stainless steel windings wound at 200 turns per inch. Just .5K OHMS per foot. Lowest Resistance possible while still maintaining necessary RFI suppression. NO MORE HEARING YOU ENGINE THROUGH THE RADIO!
3- Stainless Steel TRIPLE crimped terminals: TRIPLE CRIMPED stainless steel snap lock terminals! Exclusive triple crimped plug terminals, most wires are single crimped, better ones are double crimped, VMS ones are triple crimped! NO MORE PULLING THE PLUG BOOT AND THE TERMINAL RIPPING OUT OF THE WIRE!
4- PERMANENTLY BONDED AND SEALED BOOTS: Boots are permanently BONDED AND SEALED to the wire. No moisture will get in, and you will not rip out the boots when you pull on the wires!
